That's very true Megan. More often than not, those fears are just perceived and not real ones, and once we start getting past that, we find that things are not what we imagine them to be.
Absolutely! I was terrified to launch my Substack (or any public presence at all). I put it off for almost a full year... Once I actually stepped into it, I discovered joy instead of fear. It really is just an illusion. Keep encouraging us to have courage!
Megan, I know exactly what you mean. For many years I have also hesitated and put things on hold out of fear! But once I put aside the fear and do something, I was immediately relieved. Even though not everything turned out well, but the experience gained is previous.
not sure if I commented this already previously, but I really like the term "fail forward". because of every experience you can take something and learn from it :)
This is such an empowering reminder that failure is not a roadblock but a stepping stone to growth and success. I love the perspective that true failure is failing to try at all—so inspiring Moon.
I'm hoping to share a transformative perspective. When we see failure as a stepping stone rather than a setback, we empower ourselves to take risks and embrace growth. Failing to try is the only true defeat because it denies us the opportunity to learn, adapt, and achieve. Every stumble is a chance to build resilience and refine our path.
Inspiring read Moon, push the button, launch the rocket, learn from failure and walk over the success bridge to your future!
That's my mindset got to start somewhere and make an attempt!
It's been great to watch you grow, Moon. I'm looking forward to seeing how far you go this year!
Thanks for the encouragement Vince!
I am always inspired by your journey! Thank you for sharing what you have with the rest of us! Love, Virg
This comment means a lot to me and pushes me to work harder. Thanks Virg!
Well said! Failure truly is our best teacher and if we allow fear to hold us back, we will never pursue our dreams

It's common for people to fall, but always make sure to fall forward so we progress on the road, even if it's just one tiny step!
An inspiring post! I am going to subscribe
You made my day Tim! I aim to provide as much value as I can.
