This is great! It's definitely been the root of much procrastination in my life as a writer and a painter. Once of the best lessons I learned and am happy to share is that "your art is your art." However it ends up, put it out there. Stop over working it, stop overthinking it, just let it be. Walk away. It's not for others to know the anguish you've spent over the work, but release it so it can be enjoyed. No matter the art form, just create and don't try to be perfect. It definitely does more harm than good. Thank you for this piece. Love, Virg.
I'd say more 80% instead of 70%. The 80/20 rule is about right.
You might not always hit the bullseye, but just hitting the board is usually enough!
